Easter weekend I had the honor of working with the lovely ladies of Zoetic Dance Ensemble again. I have always had this vision of working with Zoetic on top of a bar. The concept of a very masculine bar with the soft femininity of the ladies, seemed to just stick in my head. Lucky for me I know one of the sweetest people on the planet, Kathleen Lloyd, who bartends at RiRa Irish Pub and she opened up their back bar to us. There are so many frames so it was very hard to choose. There will be more to come I’m sure. Melanie, the director of Zoetic, helped pick most of these out Check out the video too of the laides and some behind the scenes stuff from our shoot.
Dance is essential to the human experience. Honor the body, connect to the spirit, and appreciate the potential in both. Respect every artist’s unique voice and vision, including your own. Foster an environment of trust to create opportunities for risk and innovation. Celebrate the ephemeral nature of dance; respect its roots, traditions and history.
Zoetic Dance Ensemble is a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting the quality of the human spirit through the athleticism and artistry of dance to a wide audience by creating and producing innovative and accessible choreographic works.Donate
