When I got the call from Brian, Julia’s dad, asking me about how his daughter could get into modeling, I knew he came to the right place. Julia is a high school student and she was interested in doing print work as a model. It was her first professional photo shoot and I explained how everything would work with hair, makeup, and what clothes she should bring. Brian and Julia were very responsive and asked all the right questions so they would be 100% prepared on the shoot day.
On the day of the shoot, we had Julia get her hair and makeup done first and then we went to the location site. We shot at Marietta Square. I chose the square because I wanted to have options for different looks, textures, and places for her to build her comp card with. We chose 3 outfits that best fit her personality, style, and still had her look like a teenager.
Julia did such a great job on set and was such a natural in front of the camera. I was extremely proud of her and she was such a pleasure to work with. I work with many talent agencies in Atlanta and I gave Brian and Julia the names and information of the contacts I have at each agency so she can go chase her dream. I think she would do amazing things in front of the camera and I wish her the best of luck! I hope to work with her again when she needs to update her comp card again.
