Every year The Goodwill of North Georgia and The2econdFloor team up to bring us the Re2urrection fashion show. Fashion designers around Atlanta go to The Goodwill and pick out pieces that they can nip and tuck and make into runway fashion. If you haven’t ever been you’re totally missing out. It’s incredible to see the before and afters of these beautiful pieces.
I was inspired to do this shoot when I went out to visit my boyfriend’s family and we took a nice long hike thru their backyard with our pups. I discovered so many beautiful areas and thought to myself how awesome it would be to do a shoot out here. I hit up my team and of course they were all on board.
We had a fitting with our model and picked 4 pieces to showcase. We then brainstormed on hair, makeup, and where each piece would live visually out in the woods. We got a date on the calendar and prayed the weather would be nice.
This shoot was by far one of my top 5 favorite shoots. The whole team came out to Loganville and we packed up our gear, coolers, music, and hiking boots and made our way to location. The vibe of everyone on set was incredible and the weather was just right. I am so happy with how everything turned out and I can’t wait to do another set of clothes showcasing these amazing designers and their vision.
