Sometimes the best part about my job is working with the people I love the most. Mandy and Steve Kamal have been my best friends for 10 years and they were some of the first people I met when I moved here from Kansas. When I was going through photography school, these two were always more than happy to help model for me, sit in while I did a light test, and even let me turn our laundry room into a dark room! The support that these two have shown me is completely overwhelming and humbles me to my core.
When they got engaged, I was lucky enough to shoot their engagement photos. So naturally when Mandy announced that she was pregnant, I knew I was in for a lifetime of amazing photos with this family! Anderson, their son, is the most vibrant, smartest, funniest kid I know. I was so tickled when they allowed me to come into their home and photograph him in his element. We let him play around in his playroom and just be a kid and I think the results are exactly what Mandy and Steve were wanting.
Mandy and Steve are expecting kid #2 soon, so I will definitely be getting more crazy photos with this family in all the years to come!
